One of my very favorite things about what I do is meeting people. Luckily, I get to do that often; almost every day, in fact.
Last week was no exception. I had the pleasure of meeting with a contingent of consultants, including their very charming President and CEO Susan Jimenez, from Arizona-based strategic IT consulting firm Jimenez Consulting Solutions. We met to discuss a potential mutually-beneficial relationship wherein they help their clients (healthcare, financial, legal, manufacturing enterprises, for example) shape IT strategies and we provide the actual technology to fulfill those strategies. The value that each organization could bring to our respective clients would be immense!
I was struck by the sheer amount of experience deposited within Jimenez. They are true professionals at the top of their game.
To me, one of the most important aspects of a successful relationship is a common value system. Jimenez filled that requirement in spades as they're very much aligned with our values: solving a client's problem with innovative solutions and superior service.
Of course, the fact that two-thirds of their contingent were U of A grads was a bit disconcerting. Fortunately, this Sun Devil has learned to see beyond someone's poor choice of attending the second-best university in Arizona. ("Second-best" is a bit generous, I realize.)
It already looks like there might be an opportunity to work with Jimenez on a few projects. In fact, I know our inControl CMS would meet and exceed the needs for one such project.
Stay tuned...
